The Course’s Brain:
In the Course , the word image definition for “mind” is, “The activating representative of heart, offering its creative power (C-1.1).” That is damaged into, “Right-mindedness which identifies the Sacred Heart, forgives the entire world, and through Christ’s vision considers the real world in its position (C-1.5); and wrong-mindedness which listens to the vanity and makes illusions (C-1.6). Nowadays, the only real outstanding flexibility may be the flexibility of preference; generally between two choices or two sounds (C-1.7).”
As Kenneth Wapnick after said, “Enjoy is quiet and will not need to produce assertions.” The miracle-minded recognize that prayer would be to question to discover ways to forgive first in order that correct prayer is released back in song. Our purpose is to be miracle-minded with the true miracle brain of the Holy Nature right-mind and that is just through choice. The power of choice is the one remaining freedom as a prisoner of this earth You are able to choose to see right (T-12.VII.9).
Mr. Wapnick also offers some amazing articles that get right to the point with this matter. They’re taken from his two-book set on, “The Message Of A Course In Miracles” that will be stuffed with what the Course does and doesn’t say. These estimates speak for themselves and do not require reinterpretation:
Religious specialness refers to people acting out their egos’ specialness, but disguising it as religious dress. That often is available in the shape of thinking that they have acquired “special” recommendations, “special” favors, or “special” commissions from “special” divine persons such as a course in miracles instance Jesus or the Sacred Spirit, that acts to create these folks spiritually different from others and therefore more “special” (Few Choose To Hear, p. 141).
What we’re calling “religious specialness” looks in the members of virtually all spiritual or religious movements. We do all this as a result of our great repressed concern and guilt; and we do it in place of learning and exercising the Course. This can be a course on sameness and one which exemplifies kindness:
That failure to genuinely practice A Course in Miracles’ sort concepts of forgiveness which they study, and often actually train, has possibly been the most serious declining among their students. This book’s sequel, “Several Choose to Hear,” discusses how students often disguise their thought process of specialness beneath the guise of spiritual counseling or friendship. The lack of easy kindness is, unfortuitously, unique to all except the Course scholar creating the spiritual pronouncements (All Are Called, p. 306).
